AS WE BLOOM IN WORDS

Clouding my Mind

I wrote this song to express how ephemeral yet all-encompassing the “clouds” in our lives are. Storm clouds of dysregulation, deep gloom of mourning, missing someone or some moment – they shape how we see and feel, but also they pass and circulate.

Lyrics

They roll in tumbling

Piling over the land

And making the world so dark and gray

Stick around and somehow they

Dissolve, blow, or rain away

The clouds in their shapes x3 that I see

Shape x3 how I see

Clouds don’t ever die

They just become something

Somehow new and yet the same

You and I will never be lost and forgotten

Just in new shapes and names

The clouds in their shapes x3 that I see

Shape x3 how I see

The clouds in their shapes x3 that I see

Shape x3 how I see
